Dr. Dhvanil K. Thakor

Dr. Thakor earned dual bachelor's degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Austin College before obtaining his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University.
He completed a rigorous three-year residency in Podiatric Medicine and Foot and Ankle Surgery at HCA Houston Healthcare‑West. During residency, he trained alongside experienced surgeons and participated in the care of more than 1,000 foot and ankle cases, developing broad expertise in podiatric conditions and advanced surgical techniques.
Following residency, Dr. Thakor practiced as an attending physician in the greater Houston area, providing patient care while also serving as an educator for podiatric and family medicine residents. His extensive surgical training provides a strong foundation for the careful evaluation and precise treatment of ingrown toenails, including both initial and recurring conditions.
His broader clinical and surgical interests include advanced foot and ankle procedures, arthroscopic surgery, and total ankle replacement. He is also a certified provider of the STAR® Total Ankle Replacement System.

Dr. Chris H. Vu is a podiatric physician dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered foot and ankle care, with a focused interest in the evaluation and treatment of ingrown toenails.
Dr. Vu earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon, followed by a Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University.
He completed a three-year podiatric surgical residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he gained advanced training in podiatric surgery, lower-extremity biomechanics, and the evaluation and treatment of foot and ankle conditions.
Dr. Vu brings this clinical and surgical training to ingrown toenail care, with an emphasis on careful evaluation, clear communication, precise treatment, and individualized care.
